Jay ran the Tough Mudder, an intense 12 mile obstacle course designed by British Special Forces, known as the “toughest course on the planet”.

And this video makes me proud. He didn’t even need any help getting up the ramp!
There’s two courses that even had electrical wires and the shocks were so strong that when you’re hit(and it’s not a matter of “if”, you couldn’t help but get hit a few times), your body automatically slams to the ground. Intense, right? He said the hardest part was how freezing it was(his race started at 8 a.m with no sun whatsoever). He said the very first course required you to jump in the ice, and almost every other course was jumping in the ice, so you’re constantly cold. For me, this would be the farthest thing from fun and I would never voluntarily put myself in these situations, but I gotta say these people are pretty amazing.

What an awesome job! I would love to be able to do the tough mudder one day. I did a Dirty Girl run and it was a blast but not nearly as intense.

Haha, I was just about to say, "that does not look fun" when I read your last line. My husband would find it super fun though! Jay looks awesome though! What a champ!

That is amazing!! My son's ABA therapist just did a tough mudder a month ago and she's this little itty bitty thing. I have no idea how people do it! Way to go Jay!!

Ha! This race was the subject at lunch today at work – the electrical wires sound intense. Not my kind of race, but t looks like the participants had an amazing time. Congrats to your husband!
