Just when you thought...

Just when you thought the kids finally stopped fighting with each other or making a big mess, and are playing nice with their cousin, quietly, and you are able to relax and say to yourself, "Man, I finally get some time of peace and quiet!"

Then they come out looking like this...

They had colored themselves in permanent markers... don't want to expose Ana too much, so it's not pictured but she drew all the way down to her legs.  Apparently she wanted to try out for the movie Avatar.

I immediately took off their clothes and put them in the bathtub, and even after I scrubbed them over and over again, nope, it still stayed on for several days after that.

My two boys would get along with your kids. They did the same thing this summer with sharpie markers all the way to their eardrums. Yes, the marks do come out. To this day, if they're too quiet, I'm scared.

  8. Omg, I had a similar experience. I was in the room and my two boys and their cousin were playing nicely in the living room. 5 minutes later, the littlest one comes running into the room, with marker mustache and coloring all over his face and arms. The cousin follows with the same. Luckily ours was washable crayola!

This happened a while ago (my nephew is now 22) - but when he was about 3 years old, he got a hold of a black permanent marker and proceeded to color his entire "penis", while his dad was supposed to be watching him. I don't think there is a person we meet that we don't share that story! LOL You got to love 'em! :)
