Do any of you mothers out there get excited to dress up to go out? Even if it’s just out to dinner with the family at a casual restaurant? Well, that’s me. Since I’m mostly in my t-shirt and leggings all day at home. If I know I don’t have to get out of the house that day, I don’t even bother to look in the mirror or put make-up on, or change for that matter. Jay would come home from work to find me exactly the same as when he left the house in the morning. It’s kind of ironic that the one person I should dress up for and look cute for, I don’t, but when I go out in public, that’s when I put make-up on and dress up(not that I dress for other people, I dress for me to feel my best out in public).
And are any of you mothers tired of making dinner every night? It’s only been (almost) 5 years since I’ve been married and yet, I’m already tired of planning/shopping/making dinner every night! What am I going to do for the next 50+ years?
So last night we went to CPK, and I just love it when I don’t have to cook and I get to eat someone else’s cooking!
Ana: “Mommy! Can I get on the horse?”
Did you know that I worked at CPK at the Beverly Hills Center in LA one summer, and on my last day of work I met Usher? I got to usher Usher to his table, how cool is that? π

Haha! I'm the same way with dressing up. Women are weird people.
I hear you on the planning/grocery shopping/ making dinner…And I've only been married for a year and a half! But if I left things up to my husband, we'd be having hamburger helper every other night. π

Ha, I am the same way! Sometimes I even get dressed up to go to Target! I am usually home in sweats and Tshirts too.
I am also with you on the meal planning….despite the fact my blog is mainly based around that! (notice I have not been updating as often as I used to….may need to mix things up a bit…)

Usher, Usher. lol. I dislike going to the store & thinking of things to make. It bugs when other women ask, 'What are you making for dinner…?' I always feel pressure, but now realize maybe they need an idea. I try to make meals that last for 2-3 days. Luckily my husband is ok w/repeats. CPK. Yum!

Haha, my husband too, except he hates hamburger helper or anything fast. And he says he's not a picky eater! π Thanks for your comment!

That is smart, I need to do that with my meals and make it last 2-3 days. Thanks for your comment!
