it was when i went to my church activity of making homemade strawberry jam. we were chatting amongst ourselves when someone mentioned the show the bachelorette. it was as if someone just offered all of us a free trip to the oprah show(before it was over of course.) our voice automatically turned up an octave higher from our excitement and passion and we just couldn’t talk fast enough as we reviewed all the episodes and characters from this past season. and we knew. we were no more just church friends. we were now family. and right then and there, we formed the bachelor club by drinking each other’s blood. okay, the last part ain’t true but it sounds appropriately intense and dramatic.
so for our first bachelor club activity, we had the finale party at my house. plenty of treats + watching it on the big projector screen + great friends + great conversations at every commercial and during(even though it was tivo’ed, we still had to pause it many many times during the show so it took us at least 3 hrs. to finish the show). and since i was the only baby mama, i missed some parts of the show tending to my kids but i’m so glad i had great friends who filled me in.
i can’t wait for the next bachelor season! oh, i love me some drama.

Is that Sarah from Wearing it On My Sleeves on the left? Not to be a blog stalker but I saw that & think she just did a tutorial on how to make that shirt earlier this week. If it is – that's funny, I didn't realize you two knew each other or lived nearby…
Sarah says
Yes it is! We go to the same church and we just found out we live like 3 houses away from each other! 🙂
