Today is our 3-year anniversary!!! Jay came home from work and surprised me with red roses. He wanted to get me 3 dozen roses for the 3 year mark but I guess they ran out of roses at the store. So he got me close to 30 roses. They are beautiful. And we’re going on a date tonight woo hoo! We don’t get much of that with two kids. I forgot our anniversary last year(I was in Korea and it was crazy) and Jay was so sad I had forgotten. I hope from now on we’ll always spend our anniversaries together and never be apart on this special day. I remember when we started dating I wanted to date other boys(Jay was my first real boyfriend and I had just gotten back from my mission) so I told Jay let’s break up, I want to try and date other people and I remember he said to me, “Would you want to date 24 different guys for one hour each or spend 24 hours on me? We got something going on and wouldn’t you rather give your whole heart to this relationship and then if it doesn’t work out, then we can move on?” Man, Jay is smooth!(take notes you single gentlemen) I agreed with what he said and didn’t break up with him. π Marriage is not always happily ever after and married people all know it gets harder after the wedding day. But marriage is almost always happily ever after and there are many more ups than downs. I am so so grateful to God that he gave me Jay as my husband. I’m a hopeless romantic and I like to think that Jay and I promised each other we would marry before we came down to earth. Yes there are more than one person you can marry and be happy with but I believe some couples did promise each other and we’re one of them. Haha, so cheezy I know right? But I really do believe that with all my heart. We’ve always had so much connection and chemistry since the moment we saw each other and it’s way more than just physical attraction. We’ve never felt so strongly about anyone else before and it seemed like we were always drawn to each other no matter what we did, like a magnet. Haha, no throwing up okay? π I love you Jay. Forever and ever. I promise you will always have my heart 100% and I will give all my time to you 24/7. Okay people, NOW you can go throw up! ;D Here are some pictures of our wedding and my bridals at the Timpanogoes Temple where we were sealed.
