We wanted to do something fun as a family before I left to Korea and since Adalie LOVES animals and Jay LOVES the zoo, we decided to go. I’m not the biggest fan of zoos because I think it’s basically a jail for animals who shouldn’t be bound by fences and should be free to run in the wild. They just look so sad to me and I feel bad for them. Haha yes I’m a dork so what?
But I did have a lot of fun, it was so fun to see Adalie’s reactions and her excitement. A couple days ago we were about to get in the car to go to the duck pond and Adalie saw birds and she pointed to it while screaming of excitement and started chasing it. With the cutest smile and big eyed, she looked at me to see if I saw the birds too. It was then I realized why I love having kids so much. One of the many reasons is because they bring out the childness and the innocence in you. As you see your child delight in simple things like nature, you can’t help but smile and delight in them also. I LOVE being a mother.
And We finished this outing with some Chopotle. Again! π
Jay is the most wonderful daddy, I honestly can’t think of how he can improve to be a better father, literally not even a single thing. We love you and we’ll miss you terribly. Argh I don’t want to go anymore! :'(
P.S: Feel free to call him up or stop by to see if he’s survivin’ and doing okay because a month is a long time! π
